My Panasonic LX3

I guess the year was 2009. I had quit Cleartrip and was taking a break. Travelling around. This is when I saw the LX3 online and immediately fell in love with it. I did not have much money so I pestered my mum. I pestered and pestered and finally she gave me the money for it. It was 31K !! That was more expensive than APS-C DSLR's at that time. so I beeteled down to JJ Mehta at Dadar. I wanted the black one but they only had the silver and I did not have the patience to wait for the black. That's how I got it.

It travelled with me constantly. The entire 2nd bike trip (Ratnagiri-Goa) was shot on this camera. The macros were surprisingly good. The landscapes were detailed. For a 10MP small sensor the quality was really really good. One of the photos (Devgad) has been printed to a 24"x18" size.

It still works. The battery had to be changed but it still works as it did. My elder daughter has it now.

Some of the photos clicked with this camera.

Tree and rain clouds rays Beach, Kunkeshwar Thunderstorm passing, Devgad fort in the shadow Wild Flowers Flowers on Lake Charlotte

The photos of Matheran here, here, here, here, here and here are all shot with the LX3.
