After 14 years we gathered again on this spot. Last time it was Percy, myself and Batata and none of us remember much of what happened -- only fleeting memories of getting sloshed and having a hangover. A few remaining photos from that time remind us that it really happened.
Batata and me have been going to Matheran several times over the years. We have talked and we have walked. Dark humour. Philosophy. But then he got married and left for the Queen's land. The meetings became rare. This was only the second time. After 14 effing years.
But with some people the time gap disappears and we can start off from where we left. So be babbled non stop. Called up those who were not present. Ate. Drank. Slept. Rima joined next morning. It was a repeat of the earlier day with her added.
Old memories revived. Old lives relived. A good time.
